Tech & Stage Crew

Applications for technical and stage crew are currently closed.

Crew may be allocated to a specific technical area (e.g. lighting, sound, props) and/or required as stage crew for the performance. All set changes are performed by crew only and these are rehearsed during the early stages of the 24 hour period in preparation for the tech run. We require positive, helpful people who are prepared to follow directions, work well in a team and good at on-the-spot problem solving.

Technical crew applicants may opt to assist with bump in, set up and bump out; or for the 24 hour production period.

Stage Crew applicants must be available for the entire 24 hour production period. All participants must be 18yrs+

The next Project will be held in Brisbane.

The Super Awesome Bump Team

After more than 24 hours awake we can't trust anyone in our production team or crew with power tools and sets pieces, so we need a fresh team to sweep in and pack up at the end of it all. The Bump Team are only required for bump out (though they are welcome to help with bump in too). Bump out begins immediately following the performance and usually takes around 3 hours.

Support Team

Applications for Support Team volunteers are currently closed.

The Support Team works with the Support Director to provide all kinds of important assistance to keep the Project running. Tasks include helping in the kitchen, time-keeping for rehearsals, supervising the quiet-space, front-of-house (box office, bar, ushering, etc), setting up and packing down spaces, massage, first-aid, and an endless supply of odd jobs.

Support Team can volunteer for bump in, bump out, all or part of the 24 hours of rehearsals, the performance, or any combination of the above! Those who opt to stay for the entire 24 hour production period will be allocated a block of time to sleep.

All participants must be 18yrs+

The 2022 Project will be held in April 2022 in Brisbane.
